A look into two pieces of art - one realistic and one abstract - from the Carnegie Museum of Art.
We chose our own music each for our first composition.
We talked over a little our plans for the second composition.
We combined the two for our third composition.
We as people share many things in common. We all eat, breathe, and sleep - and we all wear clothing (well, most of the time).
For some, choice of clothing may not be a big deal. But in the end, deciding what to wear every day is a decision shared by all of us living in civilized community.
Our goal is to increase consumer awareness and streamline the ordering process at The Exchange.
Currently, there are a few issues that we have identified:
- The menu is obscured, and many people in the queue can not see it.
- There is a single line feeding into 3 separate lines for ordering different types of food, and the distinction between the three is unclear.
Sounds fill the world around us, and they influence us in unique ways. It can change how we feel, how we remember things, and even connect us with one another.
For our project we created a video compilation with an original mix of music, along with an original album cover created for this assignment.
The cover takes inspiration from each of the three songs. The mellowness of Mind over Matter forms the background. The groovy sound of Baby I'm Yours makes up the border, while the brashness of Stuntin Like my Daddy is expressed in our laser shooting faces.
The mix is composed of 3 songs chosen by each of our group members, and shows how although we all have different tastes, our
love of music is something that connects all of us.
In the video we showcase each of us engaging in our artistic passions, and also snippets of who we are.
