Your video was really funny; who doesn't love the office? However, I think this project could use a bit more creativity; there are a lot of these types of videos out there, and although it was well put together, I thought maybe you could put some more into it; maybe related clips from another TV show, or something.
Overall, I think this did what you wanted it to do, and seems like a very spreadable video.

I really liked the result of this project. I especially like the effect of the optical illusion on the last picture. It was as if the sky was dancing so it was just very pleasing to look at. I feel like if you would have stuck to something more like that (i.e. more purposefully attaching the optical illusion to photos) it would have enhanced the quality of the video. This was also very well documented. I appreciate the research you put into understanding what you were doing. I also like how you reflected on the differences between this project and your previous one. Overall, good job!

This was really well done! I really like the synchronization of the characters' actions to the music. I also like the fact that the different movies blended together quite well. I never really perceived them as separate pieces but more as a cohesive whole. I don't know too much about the mash up genre so I can't tell you much on how to improve it, but as a layperson this was enjoyable. Good job.

I think your project is creative, clear, and well intended. The transition between clips is very smooth (which I struggled with). It's also very short so the audience's attention doesn't die away toward the end. Overall great job!

I think your project did more than dramatize events from a TV show, you retold a story from a different perspective and very cleverly format that perspective through the selectivity of the screens you included. You cut right before the uncharacteristic laughter and leave out the faces of irony, so as to hide traces of manipulation on your part to tell the story your way.

I like the overlaid captions and text. The font and color completely match the overall theme of the video. I like the subdivided "chapters" into which you organized your supercut and this feature together with the video's inherent gore remind me of a Tarantino type of film. In fact, I didn't feel the supercut effect while watching your work, it felt rather as a smooth story.

Great work! I especially like the way you blend the audio and video together. It appears to me that the emotions of the clips match perfectly the ups and downs of the background music. Other than that the project is creative and would really grab people's attention. I enjoyed watching it.

This project made me so nervous and anxious while watching it, which is to be expected. One comment I have is that I don't know how i feel about each clip cutting to a black screen. It makes the video longer and it seems more discontinuous. I think maybe it could've been cool to try to link together all the videos (aside from their common anticipation-invoking aspects). I really loved your idea and I think it worked overall in your video.

I think your video turned out really well. The clips were cut well and brief enough to keep my attention, but long enough to hold a decent amount of content. Also, The Office is a great show and I think is very iconic for that reason, which helps with spreadability, so the choice to use this show must have helped with the second part of the project. I also think that the ordering of the clips was well done as well. Overall I think that this is a really good video/project outcome.

I found this piece very soothing to watch and it really had a pleasant feel to it. I think this is mostly due to the music you chose for the background. You may have succeeded in making me see anime as realistic. However, there is one part in this video that doesn't seem to fit the feel and that is the clip of a person cutting vegetables. I do see how this is a very realistically portrayed moment, however it is very aggressive and contrasts the mood. Ultimately, I really liked this one! Great work

I like the idea you developed for this project. I think that frustration is something which could really easily help with spreadability because when viewers are frustrated, I think they are more likely to show it to other people so that others can be frustrated with them. I also think that this video was well done because it does just what it's supposed to, i.e. leave the viewer frustrated in anticipation of an event which never occurs.

I thought you cut the abilities and the reaction from Scott Sterling pretty well. I got a good laugh out of seeing Gilgamesh hit Scott Sterling in the head with a volleyball. This has the potential to go viral if you give it the right audience, like Reddit. Scott Sterling and Fate/Zero are popular but not easily recognizable to people who aren't familiar with more niche anime or memes. Overall I really enjoyed the supercut.

I actually enjoyed the song and I found it pretty humorous. Associating the King of Pop with Shrek is pretty funny. You mentioned going for familiarity and I definitely feel like this will be familiar to a large amount of people. I do think that Thriller gets a bit lost and becomes a background track to All Star. The most recognizable portion of Thriller is the very end, but I wonder how many people would actually listen to the whole song.

I really enjoyed watching your video. The material lends itself well to going viral, since many of the Buzzfeed clips were designed with the same intention. Your addition of the reaction gifs were really effective, although I think adding sound effects to the reactions would make them more humorous. I loved the way you ended the video as well, and your message came across clear. Also, while not directly related to the technical process of putting the video together, your title is really effective in getting viewer attention.

Hi I watched your video on youtube and I think you have some very good choices as your songs. Most of them are very recognizable and that highlights what you want to show in this project, that popular songs all have more or less of the same "Ooh" components in them, which doesn't really mean anything. I think you did a good job in terms of visual as well, with pauses in between the music video scenes to guide your audience. I hope that this project will spread, because I do think a lot of people will resonate with you on this matter. Good job!

I like the way you collected the parts of a song we normally don't think about and brought them to attention. It reminds me of that video make entirely of the silences within speeches.
However, I do think you could have pushed this idea further. Are you comparing these sounds? Are you highlighting differences or similarities? I think that, by playing with layering, speed, and pitch, you could take a very good idea and push it to the next level.

I listened to your song on soundcloud and it doesn't sound like it's produced by an amateur at all, especially since I'm not familiar with the source songs you used. Well, since I haven't listened to the original songs you used, I can't really say how well you blended the two together but I'm very attracted to your concept of remixing these two songs that are very different (since I attempted at the same idea), and it's definitely challenging to implement, I'm sure. I see that you already have a good number of views on soundcloud, and hopefully that number grows viral!

I really like the idea of this? The music is the perfect choice for what you're going for.
However, I do think you could have pushed this a bit further. At some point, the video just becomes a bunch of slow-motion shots with romantic music overlaid. That portion of the video is definitely less interesting. I think you could have made a shorter but more active video, taking inspiration from hollywood trailers and the like to make your video slightly more engaging.

I really like your idea, and I think you executed it very well! I found myself on the edge of anticipation from each clip, but the payoff of each clip never came. This causes a really strange feeling in the viewers- one that I am not used to feeling on the internet. Your final project was very entertaining and I enjoyed watching it! I like that you chose a favorite show, and then narrowed it down even more specifically to your favorite Michael Scott moments. Your video definitely shows that you have good mastery over the tools you were using, and I think your final product demonstrates your intention very clearly. Your documentation was also very detailed and clear, and it was great to hear about how you tried to spread the video. Back to your video, I like how the lines weren't randomly arranged, I can see that you spent time deciding which lines should follow which to make it sound continuous, and I think you did a really good job picking out the funniest quotes from this show. It is really great how you pick the quotes where no previous context is needed, so it's easy to follow even for people who have never watched the original show. Also, great documentation. I really really enjoyed watching your final product! Miyazaki and DJ Okawari's works are some of my favorites, and I think you really emphasized the beauty and elegance of both by creatively combining them. I love that you chose a theme of motion, and really stuck with it in the videos and in the song selection. I also really liked how open ended the video seemed, as I watched I wanted to piece together a story about the different clips, despite them being from different movies. I would agree with the comment above that towards the end of the video the clips seemed to depart from the song a little more, for example the part from spirited away where the girl is running through the street didn't seem to particularly match the feeling of the song at that moment, but that could be very subjective! I think you showed really good mastery of the tools you were using, and your documentation was great; It was nice to see how you developed and changed your project as you worked.

From the description, I expected this to sound like a collection of disjoint audio clips pasted together, but this was much better than that. The transitions you used make it pleasant to listen to, if not like an actual RHCP song. I also like how you included some instrumental sections, which, while not strictly part of the idea, make the overall product much more songlike.

I think you've done a fine job with this. I did notice a couple of VERY MINOR out-of-beat moments (most people wouldn't notice), but it turned out pretty good. Honestly, I'm not even one to talk, being an amateur-at-best audio mixer. I also like the contrast that you've created here by fusing a scream-o song with something much tamer. I don't think I would've been able to tackle something like this with my current experience with audio. This is great work, and you will only get better as you gain more experience. Hopefully, this catches on and spreads!

I really like your title "Love The Way You Lie" because it fits the cover photo so well, that I immediately knew what you were trying to make. I also enjoy the actual product when you used Trump's voice to introduce the rap part. However, you may consider finding the words that appear in the lyrics from the debate video and use those clips to do a mashup of the song, this way the two media will be even more connected. Other than that, well done!

Great project. I enjoyed the use of the song - it was catchy and simple and it fit well with the short clips you edited together. It made me smile, and I think it has good potential to go viral since it has clips from many popular movies in it. Perhaps my only criticism is what you said in your inner critic section - some clips may have been repeated a few too many times. Repetition on its own isn't a bad thing, and you can keep a lot of it, but I would have liked to see more clips weaved throughout. Overall, good job!

It draws attention to the ridiculous nature of Buzzfeed and the inane videos they upload just to generate clicks and views. They go for shock value, and I think the reaction format is a good one for what you intended to do. I think the only thing you could have improved upon was the audio - perhaps adding a song overlay? Either way, I enjoyed the video and the little touches you edited in.

    ...

I LOVE THIS. If I could double my applaud, I would.

First, while I was watching, I was thinking of the scene from Millennium Actress. And this was before reading your description. So great job on getting your ideas through in video. The cuts are well timed to the music, and the framing for the most part is excellent, and only once can I say my eyes got a bit lost with the cut. Beautiful music too, it was continuing to send shivers down my spine. I maybe teared a little bit with realizing the Millennium Actress influences halfway through the video.

So yeah... I have nothing really major to critique, as the major points you managed to find yourself. However, there are a few tiny nitpicks which I can give to the video, specifically around the edits and making them stronger.

While the Satoshi Kon style is strong, it isn't fully there. There is actually one moment when you have his style down exactly, that is the first cut between the little girl running home and the woman watching the train pass by. It almost feels like the woman is the main focus, as suddenly she is pulled from reminiscing on the train platform to find herself missing her train. It is a classic editing move Satoshi Kon does; jarring yet smart edits mimic the mind of a person in the moment, and in summary tell a story of their own.

But, unfortunately, afterwards the other cuts seem at the very least related in image only. Near the end, you have many cuts of people running on or near water, and although the context connects, there isn't as much impact as before. The train cut to the boy is a bit jarring too, the one cut where my eyes wandered for a split second. And between there and the water I can't really see any connection between the cuts.

BUT... It is still excellent. Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh in the criticism earlier. If it is a bit too harsh, think of it like this; I had to nitpick in order to see anything that is worth commenting, and again, as I said, the first cut between the girl going home and the woman on the platform is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I mean... I would write more paragraphs about how much story you managed to give with that one cut.

I hope this wasn't too long of a critique, and I hope my nitpicking didn't dishearten you! And... if you ever get into editing film etc, I cannot wait to see what else you will do!

I think your video is very informative and amusing. I love how you mashup the different tones of "what" as comments to the original news program, which makes it more watchable! Yeah, the outcome is really amusing and I enjoyed it a lot! You must have spent a lot of time cutting useful clips from movies and editing them to match up exactly with the beats in the background music as the effect of outcome was amazing! Documentation is very clear; and using reverse clips is also a smart idea to increase the sense of humor, so overall I think you did a great job! One small place to improve, as you mentioned yourself, is adding more clips if time allowed since people would usually bear with the repetition for some times, but not too much ;)

So pardon me as I might say a lot about this video.

Immediately, I can see your love for anime, in particular the detailed scenes which artists draw and put into their final end products. The cuts you used for your video are beautiful, and without a doubt it conveys your message that animation can be beautiful. The music paring is perfect, too; the relaxing feelings of it coupled with some of the good cuts to the beat of the music emphasize the feelings of tranquility and wonder one gets from watching this video, and I applaud that effort.

However, there are a few small pointers I would like to give, one with regards to the video itself, one with regards to getting viral, and one other thing I would like to bring up.

First, with regards to the video, although there are plenty of well timed cuts, there may not be enough, as not all of the scene changes are to the rhythm to the music. Depending on the mood you want to set for the viewer, it may be good or bad, but if one is planning to instill a sense of wonder and amazement, the usage of strong cuts to the music would help increase that emotion one has when viewing the video.

Second, with regards to getting viral, and partially due to the cuts and the music, I'm uncertain as to how well this would go viral. Because not all the cuts are perfectly aligned, the sense of wonder one gets is there, but I am not certain if it is enough for it to go viral. As a result, it may actually accidentally be popular for being a nice video pairing with the music for someone who wants nice music int he background, but it may not get viral for the reasons you want it to be.

Finally, and this is probably something you can ignore, but I noticed a lot of the shots are of scenery. Yes, you do have ones of animated characters, but it would help if you included some scenes of beautiful settings paired with beautiful character animation. This may just be a product of personal preference, and beautiful art may just be enough to get your message across.

Overall, I very much enjoyed your piece, and am definitely going to give it an applaud.

While Lost Woods sounds vivid with the percussion, the rhythm gets more interesting with the added layer of Work Hard, Play Hard. Also, in general, it is pretty harmonic. I think your outcome is impressive and up to date! It is a great idea remixing this well-known duo song with the controversial president debate, which makes it an eye-catchy video in the status quo. The remix has a satiric style and I love it. I would suggest that you switch between two candidates more frequently (using shorter clips of the debate), so that the audience can feel a stronger contradiction between the two.
Your documentation is clarified and well-written.

Also, the supercut illustrates your point of "in motion" pretty well and the video clips are connected smoothly. The documentation is very clear and I admire your idea to combine those brainwashing, funny or annoying videos together to see how they will work out. I personally believe that this mashup will go viral as successfully as how Mr. Brainwash made his art show in the screening Exit Through the Gift Shop (he just remix a lot of brainwashing artwork and ideas right?).

I really liked your final product. The music choice is perfect and goes very well with the set of visuals you decided to use, and the overall product is enjoyable to watch. It accomplishes the goal since the product is entertaining and definitely something shareable. The message is clear while watching your video. I hope it does go viral although that may be a bit difficult since this is generally not the kind of thing people might search for on youtube without some sort of other encouragement. I hope it does well spreading though!

I really enjoyed how peaceful this video was. It seemed like you put a lot of thought into the ordering of scenes, and it was easy to follow along and enjoy.
I also liked the message that you convey through your project. The clips that you chose are indeed very realistic, which is something I didn't initially expect, and I was especially impressed by the raindrop/puddle clips. I think it also highlights the level of artistry that goes into anime, and the amount of skill it requires to create such beautiful, natural landscapes and events. The music is calm and engaging, and it works really well with your video.
As far as "going viral", I think this does have potential at getting many views. While it doesn't fit into stereotypical meme culture, it is still very enjoyable to watch and I can imagine it being watched as a video to relax or as a gentle introduction into anime.

I can see the humor in this approach, especially since these are famous films. Things are funny when they are different from what we expect, so the outcome should be pretty good. Perhaps you could elaborate on why you want to do this? That is, is there any purpose behind breaking up the tension in these movies with humor? And, if you want to see your audience's reaction, you'll have to use a specific platform in which people can react.

    2. Intent: I actually share the same feeling towards today's pop music and I think what you are doing will help many people express their attitude.
    3. Material: I assume the material you use will be pop songs and music videos and I think there's no problem with it.
    4. Spread: I think you can include some personal comment and humorous elements into the video. Sharing it on youtube, twitter and facebook and other social media will be great.

I'm not entirely sure what you're planning to make, but it sounds like a video that samples from controversial current events and classic video games. It may be hard to convey your message with only that, so I think you'll have to keep your message in mind as you make and review your project. I also think that you might have to take a political stance or make it incredibly funny to go viral, but I think it's definitely possible.

Ah, Star Trek, Star Trek, Star Trek. I grew up in such a heavily Star Trekked house. Like, my dad has every episode on VHS tapes (he refuses to move on with technology, but mom still has to help him use the VCR), we have giant life-size cardboard cutouts of Kirk and Spock in the family room of our house, and my dad wanted to name me Kirk, though my mom wouldn't let him. So naturally I'm not a fan of it. Though what I do know is that blooper reels always have mass appeal, though I fear that your video won't offer anything new to internet nerds, since you'll likely have to get these bloopers from other blooper videos unless you have a secret blooper reel that's never been released to the public lying around in your dorm room, since you can't make your own Star Trek bloopers. So find some way to make it your own. Maybe like if Patrick Stewart means to say "oh let's fight those klingons" or whatever, he accidentally says "oh let's fight those doughnuts OOPS lol" then like add a graphic of a doughnut getting murdered in the video for comedy. Try something unique like that and you'll stand out more.

I wonder how you could change your content to fix this? I
    3. Material. I think it's pretty clear you're going to mix youtube/other location videos from the internet. I wonder if you could recreate some of the ideas yourself and film them? Maybe with your own twist?

    1. Clarity. The proposal is pretty clear; the intent of the project makes sense and I thought it was an interesting idea. I also think there could be a slight bit more detail as to what kind of music you wanted to include and how you wanted to group them, beyond the general content.

    2. Intent. I thought it was kind of borrowing the idea from the "4 chord song" by Axis of Awesome, but you put it into a different context, so I think it works. There are a lot of theme's to explore here as well; beyond just content, there's a lot of musical similarities in pop songs, and also a certain kind of sound. Maybe you could consider somehow including these elements too.
    3. Material. It's pretty clear you're just going to use mp3 files, or youtube videos, or some sort of combo to mix and match music together. Maybe you could use someone else's mashups as well.
    4. Spread. I think this concept would need to be implemented well and done with care; however, it could work, and work well. Maybe, as an idea, you could add some humor to it; make the words go off of each other to make jokes, or something. I'm looking forward to seeing this project!

That said, I am excited to see how exactly you mash this up. You mentioned that it doesn't really have a meaning, and I actually find that interesting. Clarity:
You explained your intent really well, and immediately drew me into the idea. But I'd like to see a few examples of the songs you tentatively want to use.
    Intent:
I really like your intent because I can't agree with you more that popular songs are quite similar in their forms (at least from a non-music person's point of view). I think that's one of the reasons that make people get tired of new pop songs quite quickly once they binge listen to them, whereas I can't get tired of other songs not so traditionally thought of as pop. I'm excited to see your final product.
    Material&Spread:
Since most people know most of the pop songs, I think you'd have a wide variety of audience that can relate to your material, which helps you successfully achieve making your project spreadable. Since I'm not sure how you're going to approach this, I think it'd be better if you make a lyrics video to go along with your music mashup, since you mentioned that there are reoccurring themes in music and lyrics should be a good way to illustrate that.

I think the intention of your proposal is clear, that you want to recontextualize a scene from a movie and turn it from serious to lighthearted. I am just wondering how exactly you plan on recontextualizing these scenes, as there are multiple different options, from changing the audio to the video to playing with cuts. However, for it to get viral, depending on what the exact cut is, you may want to consider the length of the video you want to create. Usually these quick edits are short clips, so having to work with a 2-4 minute long video may provide a challenge to how quick the edits can be and how each humorous beat gets played out. My 2 cents here is that you may want to check out the ending to CinemaSins's videos, which for 2-5 minutes the creator just cuts funny movie dialogue over scenes of the movie in question. That and you may want to approach the project as creating a super abridged version of a movie, which can also create plenty of opportunity for comedy.

I think the project is clear, with regards to wanting to create an optical illusion and upload it, I am just curious as to how viral it will get, specifically with which optical illusion you plan on uploading. The creation of the work should not require too much work depending on the optical illusion you have in mind, but what might matter more here is the delivery. From what I can tell, quite a few viral videos with regards to optical illusions usually includes presentation which ranges from combinations of the illusion with music to simply a gif which can be easily shared, and depending on how you approach this project, the spreadability might change. I cannot wait to see what your final optical illusion will end up being, as well as how viral it gets depending on what format you decide on for the illusion.

    Clarity:
You very clearly stated your intent for this project, and therefore I followed along your train of thoughts without trouble.
    Intent:
I think what you want to do for your project is a lot more intellectual than most of the memes out there, and I appreciate the fact that you want to realize something challenging like this, since it often involves use of geometry and human eye deception tricks (which I know very little about).
    Material&Spread:
Like I mentioned, this would be intellectual in some way, and I believe it'd spread very well, like the blue and black/gold and white dress picture that created optical illusions a year back. I think for it to become viral, you have to make something no one has seen before and somewhat coincidental. Therefore, I can't wait to see your final result. I think this is a very novel and challenging material to work with.

    Clarity:
I think your intent is clearly stated, that there will be a lot of optical illusions which are "mesmerizing."
    Intent:
I think the intent is interesting, to create something that goes viral because you really can't stop looking at it. That is a good feature of something which is supposed to go viral, and the more people are impressed by it, the more they will share it.
    Material & Spread:
I think it will spread well if the optical illusions are well chosen and actually mesmerizing to look at. The material won't be too hard to put together though I think, because there is not a lot of thought that has to go into order and how long each clip shows for, etc which would be a big challenge in other projects which are more directly involved with content.

I like the idea of using Ghibli films to create this running scene because the characters are quite active in the films, and their movement is quite emotionally charged so that would be good for the outcome.

    Intent:
The intent is to focus on making an aesthetic supercut from “various clips of run cycles”. Although I haven’t watched Millennium Actress, I like your idea to create an energetic and emotional scene via the run sequence (perhaps you can elaborate more on this part and embody a deeper statement such as life is energetic/vibrant/beautiful). Maybe you need to give some background knowledge about the main theme of Millennium Actress in the Context part of final documentation.

    Material & Spread:
From your current proposal, I learned that you plan to supercut Ghibli movies, but are those movies available (as there was no Source part)? Also, I agree that even a background music audio from some popular animation attracts certain views, but you didn’t talk about how you are going to share your work or what platform you plan to use.

I think you have a good idea, and should be careful with the execution. If you include too many songs playing over each other, it will sound too jumbled and the individual parts will not be discernible. If you only have one song playing at a time, it will just sound like clips from several unrelated songs. I like the idea of combining together multiple clips from the same genre, as the final product will likely be visually consistent and appealing. I think there is an opportunity to give your work more meaning beyond genre appreciation by carefully choosing and ordering the clips. For example, you could start from genuine 80's works to 2010's works that emulate that style, to see if there is a noticeable difference. You could also try to tell a story through the clips you choose.

Of course, Macintosh Plus is mostly known for only one song (that is now a meme) but Kanye has a very broad discography. I feel like Macintosh Plus would best fit with Kanye's music from the "Graduation" / "808s and Heartbreak" era, because those albums feature a highly synthesized production. Looking through Pixar short films might also be a good idea, sometimes it doesn't take spoken words to move the audience. I'm really looking forward to your finished project! Great idea!

    1. Clarity - Your proposal was very clear, and you outlined really well the process you will use to develop your project, and what music samples you will be taking.
    2. Intent - Your intent is clear, and you talked about having wanted previously to combine the two songs you chose. I think this would be interesting to hear, though perhaps you could add more context about what interests you in these two songs, and why you chose them specifically.
    3. Material - You made it very clear which three songs you will be using for your project. I like how you will be combining three very different genre's into one track, and I'm excited to hear what it sounds like when you're finished!
    4. Spread - I think Soundcloud is a really place to publish your final product! I use Soundcloud myself, and have found that it is a great place for lesser known artists to gain popularity. Perhaps you could also post it on a few other social media sites, such as Tumblr or Reddit, where people with similar interests might look.

This sounds like a very intriguing idea and I can relate to the attempt of receiving an audience's response to something emotional. The description of the project is a little vague. How do you intend to use the music and sound to encourage the audience to react? Also how do you plan on spreading this work? Social media seems to be a viable option. I am very excited to see what you produce! I am very fascinated by the idea and I think it could be very successful.

This sounds like a great idea! Being a buzzfeed fan myself, I can only imagine the plethora of clips you can use to create this project. I also see that this has the potential to become viral much like the buzzfeed videos are. I am assuming this is going to be categorized as a supercut of a bunch of smaller clips of buzzfeed. You haven't yet said how you plan on spreading your work, but I suggest thinking about following the footsteps of your successor: try posting it wherever you can. Buzzfeed is successful in being where the eyes are (social media), so why not try it for yourself? I can't wait to see this once its finished!

I like the idea and I think this could actually be a pretty cool finished project. I just wonder if you could make your intention clearer. Do you want to create this piece with some kind of message or do you simply want it to be entertaining and cute? Besides that, this is an interesting idea and I look forward to seeing what you produce!

This is a really cool idea, and I have seen some videos before where there is a big buildup to something which never ends up happening because the video cuts off. However, I have never seen a mashup of such videos so that would be pretty cool to see. Also, great idea to share it on Twitter. I look forward to seeing your finished product!

    1. Clarity. You explained the reason behind your project clearly and explained how your project is responding the issue your raised.
    2. Intent. Yes the intention is really clear since you clearly mentioned your intention to explore the mold of pop songs and represent the similarity of populars songs nowadays.
    3. Material. Your will use supercut of video clips, and that's one of the only feasible methods to represent music content. But think about how you should utilize video so that it contains elements that are not approachable by audio only supercut. Since the repetition of pop music molds can also be represented by audio track.
    4. Spread. You work is very interesting because you're trying to identify the underlying reason why certain media went viral and tries to expose it. It will create certain impact on those who didn't realize this fact before.

    1. Clarity. You explained the background of outrun and your intention, goals clearly. For someone who doesn't know about the theme of outrun before, your explanation makes perfect sense and introduced me the idea successfully.
    2. Intent. With the history of outrun explained ahead, your intention builds on the background smoothly. Your intention of making some change of people's knowledge of a subgenre is also brave and worths trying.
    3. Material. Video remix seems to be a great media through which the theme of outrun can be represented. But pay attention to how a remix will be different if the video is edited in a different method such as mashup.
    4. Spread. Your goal of drawing people's attention to a specific genre is will hopefully make your work attention-catching. And since all of the clips, as what you described, will be the best examples of the aesthetic representation of "outrun", it will give the audience a great image of this genre which will very possibly change the way people view this topic before.

A moving meme? I don't think the Internet is ready. Your project will eventually lead to audience response. It's one effect when the viewer sits in front of a screen, clicks on a meme that appears exclusively, alone. But what when the memes are transferable and moving? I think your project involves and questions the variability of possible reactions that written word in different forms of at can have.

I anticipate a lot of laughter from your project and where humor is involved, I immediately wonder how the audience of your project will be involved. Observers or co-laughers? Also, I'm not too familiar with the sources but it's interesting how the nature of the laughter will vary and what will be the overall or dominant tone of laughter of the final product? The executive decisions necessary to decide this will be impactful in the final work.
