My project is an experience simulator through textures. At the top of the display is a sign saying "Price Check!" Displayed directly under the sign is clothing and typed anon accounts of sexual assault in relation to that particular piece of clothing. For example, a large shirt with an account of how assault made someone uncomfortable in tight fitting clothing, a set of PJs that someone had forced off of them, etc.

This project changes light colors based on movement within a stairwell. It deals with reflective/non-reflective surfaces that further manipulate the overall effect of the light in the stairwell area, creating an other-worldly experience.

I needed a way to organize my cords without also tangling the earbuds that were attached to them. This holder separates objects by size and the boxes can be moved around on the board. The boxes also come with caps such that the earbuds and charger can come together in one go. There is also a coil that cords can be wrapped in that feeds into the circles in the board. This not only protects the cord, but keeps it in place.

The goal of the project is to create an empathetic space that connects people of many backgrounds through storytelling.

Most people have trouble falling asleep in the age of electronics. The Star Gazer provides a transition away from social media to a more relaxing outer space environment right before you sleep. This will help promote a healthier sleep schedule and provide a calming reprieve from the anxiety of reality.

I plan to make a vertical laptop holder which hangs off of my bed next to my desk and has cable holders on the side to keep connectors nearby. Also, it will have proper ventilation so that my laptop does not overheat.

Through this project, I am hoping to resolve my struggle with organization, specifically when it comes to my dorm room's desk. Although I like using my desk to do homework, I find that I am constantly prevented from doing so by it's cluttered nature. I am hoping that by making a project that will increase storage space and organization on my desk, I will minimize clutter and be able to work effectively on it without having to clear it off beforehand.

How can I conveniently store and transport my power tools in a manner that has good form and function?

At college it is difficult to make art, like I usually do, because almost all of my art supplies are back home on the west coast and I don’t have the same space to make art either. Considering, college life is very active, and I am not always in the same place, having a portable drawing board with supply holders would allow me to draw in the park or at the museum comfortably and give me the opportunity to make art like I do when I am at home. Mainly the project is focused on the benefit of the supply holders which will allow me to carry around the material I need and have them be more accessible while working. The drawing board will be easier to carry with a handle and a strap which most do not come with and the holders will be custom made for the board.
